Mike previously served as Vice President, Marketing and Communications, Business Development, Customer Service for Prevea Health, a multi-specialty clinic and partner with St. Vincent and St. Mary’s hospitals in Green Bay, WI. Prior to that, Mike was Director of Public Relations and Strategic Communications, North & Central Regions with Aurora Health Care in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Mike is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin – Madison and is currently completing his Master’s of Healthcare Administration (MHA) degree. As a healthcare marketing expert, educator and media trainer, Mike is a highly requested speaker for healthcare national conferences has directed strategic planning efforts for a variety of organizations, serving as counsel for CEOs and other executive team members. When he’s not writing marketing plans, Mike spends time with his family fishing, kayaking and hiking with his two golden retrievers.
Brian comes to Legato with years of healthcare marketing expertise, most recently as the Vice President of Brand Strategy for Prevea Health. He holds a BFA degree from UW-Eau Claire. Over the years, Brian has combined his creative skills with business leadership as a creative director and agency owner. Brian is married to his love Julie, with whom he has two children, Chris and Jacqui, and two grandchildren. They have two rescue cats and two guinea pigs. Brian plays the guitar and serves as the music director for the contemporary services at his church. Brian says Legato is a great fit for him, and it was "only natural" that he, a musician, is now part of a company named "Legato."
As a former marketing director and clinic director for a Midwest rural healthcare system, Amy is experienced in all facets of marketing, community relations and strategic planning. Under her direction, the system was one of the first rural health facilities in the U.S. to fully leverage digital media to engage consumers. As a result, the hospital achieved one of the highest patient satisfaction scores regionally and nationally. She has a bachelor’s degree in Marketing and a master’s degree in Administration. The oldest of eight children, Amy is a natural leader and ‘connector,’ bringing the right stakeholders together to achieve goals. She and her husband, Aaron, have been married for more than 20 years and have two children. Amy enjoys volleyball, and loves, loves, loves music and theatre.
Our Senior Marketing Manager Patty Kitowski brings degrees and experience to spare to the team. She holds an MBA from Edgewood College and a BA in Journalism from UW-Madison. Patty has a passion for all things healthcare marketing, from strategic planning to tactical execution of consumer and referring physician-focused campaigns. She enjoys the challenge of mixing creativity with the science of targeting patients and referring physicians. Patty is the mother of 3 children and has been married to her husband Eric for 20 years. In her free time, she enjoys watching anything on Bravo ("Don't judge!") and a good bloody Mary.
Jenny has more than a decade of expertise in healthcare marketing and specializes in everything from building and maintaining relationships to strategic planning. She is a Fighting Phoenix alum, graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a Bachelor of Science in communication, emphasis in public relations. Jenny resides in the Green Bay area with her husband, son and puppy, and enjoys traveling, Wisconsin sports and outdoor adventures.
With experience in both healthcare and government, Matt first developed his skills and interest in marketing and communications while working as a media relations associate for St. Norbert College, where he earned a degree in theology and religious studies, as well as a pre-law certificate. A Green Bay native, Matt is a lifelong cheesehead who enjoys testing new recipes in the kitchen, sitting down with a good book, or watching a classic sitcom.
After taking one class in health communication, Kelly fell in love with the idea of working in the healthcare field. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay with a Bachelor of Arts in communication, emphases in social media and health communication. In addition to watching Grey’s Anatomy and shopping, Kelly enjoys walking her pet rabbit, Willow, in his stroller – yes, some friends refer to her as a “crazy bunny lady.”
Hannah left the gopher state of Minnesota to become a badger at the University of Wisconsin–Madison. Hannah graduated with a degree in journalism with an emphasis in strategic communication and brings energy and creativity to her role as marketing coordinator. Hannah has strong writing skills and is a true people-person with a diverse background that includes certificates in digital studies and French. Hannah is eager to apply her education and experience to help rural health systems best leverage all of the current strategies available to help them define and meet their goals. For fun, you may find Hannah at a farmer's market supporting local growers, or, if she's having a really great day, traveling to new destination or out on a boat in the middle of a lake.
Angie graduated from St. Norbert College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Graphic Design and a minor in Communications Media. Born and raised in Wausau, WI, She spends her time in Green Bay playing with her dog, keeping up on pop culture, and inventing new recipes involving cheese and bread. Her corporate and agency experience led her to joining the Legato team. She loves the tightknit, family environment at Legato, and is always on the lookout for the next great Legato food day.
Dana is a Green Bay native who is back from the northwest to live and work in her hometown. After receiving her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Minnesota, she worked in Portland before returning to Titletown as a graphic designer for the Greater Green Bay Chamber. In her spare time, Dana enjoys playing with her 1-year-old son and working on her 100 year-old-house with fiance Oliver. She paints and draws whenever she can, and loves spending time outdoors with her family. Dana's favorite part about working at Legato is the range of projects, the people, and the food days.
Three parts extrovert, two parts optimist, three parts dreamer, and zero parts mathematician, Terri enjoys the varied projects and family-like feel that make each day fun at Legato. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, emphasis Public Relations/Advertising, and a minor in Writing from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and has written for a retail corporation, an educational institution, and as a freelancer. She also owned a retail shop/espresso bar that she ultimately sold to stay home with her two kids until she returned to writing full time. Terri lives in the Fox Valley with her husband and kids and enjoys traveling, anything water-related, and catching a show in Chicago or the Appleton P.A.C.
Jessica joined Legato in 2021, after 20 years in higher education, most recently as the Director of the Writing Center at St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin; before that she worked in marketing for several organizations, including agencies, a chamber of commerce, visitor and convention bureaus, festivals and entertainment groups. She earned a Bachelor of Science in journalism from Ohio University and a Master of Arts in English literature from Marquette University. Jessica enjoys yoga, yarn and traveling.
Mary has a BS degree in Communication from UW-Oshkosh. With a diverse marketing background in healthcare, insurance, finance, not-for-profit and education, she has the ability to blend storytelling with strategic thinking. Working in both Fortune 500 and agency settings, and as a freelancer, Mary has extensive writing experience in digital, video, broadcast and print. She says a “perk” of her profession is the opportunity to interview many inspirational individuals – from frontline healthcare workers to the homeless in Washington, D.C. Mary enjoys spending time with her husband traveling, biking, hiking skiing, swimming... pretty much all things outdoors.
Carla Lee brings a unique skill set to the Legato team, having held a variety of professional positions in both the for-profit and non-profit world throughout her career. If you can name a position in marketing, advertising, website design, or communications, chances are she’s tackled the role at some point and added it to her list of things she can do, even it's on the unconventional side! She earned an MBA from Concordia University and a BA in Communication, Media and Theatre from St. Norbert College. Outside of work, you’ll find her spending time with her husband, son, and pooch, doing something crazy outdoors or playing Mario Kart on Nintendo Wii!
We’re not saying that Deanna is Wonder Woman, but let’s just say we’ve never seen the two of them together at the same time. From putting out proverbial fires, to mopping up literal floods, if there’s something Deanna can’t do, we haven’t found it yet. And while her superpowers are many, her quick wit is by far her fiercest weapon. Deanna also brings her strong administrative background and years of accounting experience to Legato. She and her husband Chris have been married for 20-plus years and have six beautiful children. When she’s not busy momming, you may find her bartending at one of Wisconsin’s oldest supper clubs.
